Excellent transit blog post..... :0)<br /><br />I'm so glad you got to see the event after 8 years of waiting... it only seems like yesterday that I was going nuts about the 2004 transit....!!<br /><br />Interesting to note that you observed the final transit egress in 2004 and had beautiful skies in 2012 ...Whereas I had beautiful skies in 2004 and observed the final egress in 2012.... :0) <br /><br />I like that Sun funnel.... I'll try to make one of those for our next astronomy group solar party.. <br /><br />Excellent pictures.... I used to have a 6 inch refractor like the one in the Hunter Astrophoto Lab picture ....stupidly I sold it....
